Trevor Dubinski

Trevor Dubinski was entering his sophomore year of high school when he experienced a negative reaction to the mononucleosis (mono) virus which weakened his body and put him into a coma for two weeks. After waking from the coma, Dubinski was transferred to HealthSouth’s Rusk Rehabilitation Center for one week to help him regain function and movement. A competition wrestler before the impairment, Dubinski wants to get back to wrestling and has found inspiration through Columbia based wrestler and 2016 Olympic Bronze Medalist J’den Cox who surprised Dubinski upon his return home.
